Welcome to Wigan Family Welfare Online

Wigan Churches' Association for Family Welfare has been helping families in need for nearly 50 years. The organisation was established in 1958, at the time concentrating on supporting young people with pregnancy related issues.

Since then it has expanded over the years, identifying and meeting the needs of families and children. It exists now to provide a service through counselling, advocacy and community development as a free, independent and confidential service to the people of the Wigan Borough.
